Schönbrunn’s Panda Twin Babies Venturing Outside – シェーンブルンのパンダ、初世界探検へ。

Feb 28, 2017

This is the entrance gate to the oldest zoo in the world, founded in 1752 as an imperial menagerie. Here we are proud to bring up generations of cute little Panda bears.

PANDA  = BEAR-CAT in Chinese 熊猫, and パンダ in Japanese

The Panda Twins Fu Feng and Fu Ban are almost seven months old by now and are allowed to venture outside for the very first time in their lives. Here is male baby “Fu Ban”, about to explore his new world. The word “Panda” in Chinese or Japanese is written with a combination of the characters for BEAR 熊  and CAT 猫, to mean Panda Bear. Indeed, Fu Ban looks like a cute “bear-cat”!
