Vienna’s Great Musicians – Where Franz Schubert Was Baptised

In Lichtental Church in Vienna, Alsergrund District, Franz Schubert was born and baptised. Later he worked in this church, played the organ and composed for the holy mass. Following are images of the baptistry.

Through this door on the front right of the church you enter the sacred room reserved for baptising ceremonies.
